Sculptures
From early age I started building, customising and painting so-called modelkits, and for a long time I took on commisions in this field. Back then, I was mainly focussed on commisions for the highly popular miniature wargame (boardgame) called Warhammer 40k.
Recently however, I have started refocussing more and more on creating unique sculptures and I have been using new and different kinds of 3D techniques. For this specific project, I wanted to fuze two of my passions into a 3-dimensional form and make them available to the public.
For this personal project I choose to work with figures from the legendary Japanese anime series Gundam and combine them with one of my favorite brands of graffiti paint; Montana-Cans.
Holy Trinity
The idea here was to create 3 very unique and vivid eye-catching pieces, that fuze passion for graffiti and Gundam (giant robots). They are painted in my favorite color trinity, and also represent 3 of my favorite Gundam builds; Sinanju (red), Sazabi (blue) and Destiny (turquoise/green).
Technology and art
As you might have noticed, many of my murals and sketches are largely inspired by technologies like robotics, animatronics, biotechnology and cybernetics. The shapes and forms that I can use in my projects are endless. When i am higly focussed, and working on projects like this it temporarily transports me to all kinds of possible futures, which admittedly are very exciting.
